aad architects and Urbana Town Planning were appointed by the client to deliver a residential development.
The application is for a new high quality building – Model Farm – varying from 1 to
3 storeys accommodating 38no. owner occupier private apartments, houses and bungalows with a variety of private gardens, courtyard gardens, balconies, terraces and communal amenity space.
The scheme proposes a signature building which defined the site on the main
approach. On a sustainable brownfield location the project also offers a unique opportunity to provide a benchmark for quality, and appropriate settlement growth within this area.
The proposals maximise the site but as this is brownfield site this is a highly sustainable approach to deliver accommodation in the region, reducing transport demands while benefiting the rural economy as a whole.
